Last Friday Thompson RCMP received a report of a suspicious individual in a home on Tataskweyak Cree Nation.
Information reported indicated that the suspect was armed,
The property was surrounded, and officers instructed all occupants to exit the premises at which point a 32-year-old male complied and was arrested without incident.
Believing there were still individuals in the home officers entered and found 2 males locked behind a door who were both arrested without further incident.
Upon entry to the locked room, officers found a large quantity of cash and drugs.
A search warrant was drafted and executed and 25 thousand dollars, a large knife, baton, and drug paraphernalia were located.
32-year-old Melvin Beardy, from Tataskweyak Cree Nation, 25-year-old Anthony Runsewe, from Brampton, Ontario, and a 16-year-old male, from Winnipeg, were remanded into custody on multiple charges.
Thompson RCMP is continuing to investigate.
