RCMP in Thompson was notified of a male victim at the hospital last Tuesday night with serious injuries.

 

When they responded it was determined that the victim, 64-year-old Melvin Anderson had been found the night before in front of a residence on Martin Bay after it was reported by a family member.

 

Due to the severity of the victim’s wounds, he was transferred to a hospital in Winnipeg, and his condition has since improved.
