In the early hours on Saturday, just after midnight, Thompson RCMP got a report of a stabbing that took place at an address on Nickel Road.

 

When officers arrived they found a 56-year-old male with multiple stab wounds.

 

The Victim was taken to Winnipeg Hospital where he remains in stable condition.

 

The initial investigation determined that the male had been assaulted 3 4 individuals, 3 male and 2 female.

 

That investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact Thompson RCMP.

 

Later that same evening RCMP in Thompson got a report of a second stabbing at a business on Princeton Drive.

 

When officers arrived they found a 35-year-old male with multiple stab wounds, he was transported to hospital.

 

Police began patrolling the area and located the suspect on Brandon Crescent.

 

Brandon Anderson, 29, was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault.

 

Investigations into both assaults are ongoing.
