Monday afternoon, RCMP in Thompson seized Drugs, Cash, Weapons and cell phones in two separate investigations.

 

Traffic stops of a vehicle on Wolf Street led to the arrest of one individual when he exited his vehicle and then began to approach officers in a threatening way.

 

Officers detained the driver and conducted a search for weapons.

 

They located drugs and drug paraphernalia and arrested the 49-year-old male driver and a 29-year-old female passenger.

 

A search of the vehicle led to the seizure of 115 grams of cocaine, a hatchet, and other paraphernalia.

 

 Officers then prepared a search warrant and entered a residence on Birch Avenue where they seized additional cash, drugs, firearms, and Paraphernalia.

 

Clark Chornoby, 49, was remanded into custody and charged with various offences, the 29-year-old female was released for a scheduled court date.

 

Later that afternoon Thompson General Investigative Services executed a search at a second residence on Brandon Crescent and seized more drugs, cash, and paraphernalia.

 

Noah Rambarran, 21, was remanded into custody on multiple charges and another 28-year-old female was released on a scheduled court date.
