Over the weekend The Pas Immigrant Services hosted a newcomer's BBQ and gathering, to welcome individuals to the community, many coming from abroad.

                                               

Representing the diverse cultures in the community is one of the goals immigrant services have.

 

The Tri-Community Culture Days are coming up in just over a month, and immigrant services will be hosting a variety of cultural shows, food, and vendors.

 

They are looking for performers to participate, drummers, dancers, and singers are all welcome to represent their culture at the event.

 

There is also a need for vendors, and that can include the selling of any cultural or ethnic artifacts, souvenirs, or food.

 

The Event will run from September 27 to October 6 at various locations around the community, if you would like a piece of your culture on display you can contact the immigrant services at 204-263-3699 and take part in the festival.
