An Event Headquarters has been set up at the Otinika Mall for the 58th annual Opaskwayak Indigenous Days, where you can find event details and gear.

 

You can also find clues for the hidden tomahawks and Bigfoot statues that have been placed around the community.

 

The Parade today will start at Noon at the GLMC.

 

Angle and children’s races will occur at 10 am at various locations, and traditional events will take place starting tomorrow morning.

 

One such event is the Canoe Classic, which has been run for over 40 years.

 

Registration for the canoe classic will take place at 7 pm tonight.
