Last Saturday, as part of an ongoing investigation, RCMP in Grand Rapids Executed a search at a residence in Misipawistick Cree Nation.

A search of the residence resulted in the seizure of a firearm, ammunition, and drug paraphernalia.

Donna Mercredi, 42, and Conrad Genaille, 33, have been charged with various offences, including weapon possession, contrary to a court order.

They were remanded into custody.

RCMP investigations are ongoing.
