Last week, the Tri-Community Foundation handed out checks to the Pas Handi van, the Cranberry Portage Human Resource Center and the Opaskwayak Educations breakfast program.

 

An event was held last week to hand out the first checks.

 

Don Dunigan with the Tri-Community Foundation says they work with the Winnipeg Foundation and endow Manitoba to support the community.

 

The foundation is a group of local volunteers and charitable donors working to improve the communities.

 

Over the last few years, the organization has grown through collaborations with Endow Manitoba, the Winnipeg Foundation, and various grants.

 

A giving week is currently happening across Manitoba.
