One and a half million dollars is being spent or road maintenance and repair in The Pas, most of which started in the town earlier this week.
The town is looking into equipment to help with back ally maintenance.
Some of the equipment for this will be in town next week, and testing will be done to determine the equipments feasibility.
Town officials have also been involved with conversations with M-P Niki Ashton, MLA Amanda Lathlin, and Health Minister Uzoma Asagwara to share concerns about the community.
There are plans for the mayor and council to meet with ministers in regards to health care clinic upgrades in the community.
Also discussed at this week’s meeting was an upcoming by election for an open seat on the council, video equipment upgrades for filming by weekly meetings, and an upcoming call in show with the Mayor and council at CJAR on Friday July 19th.
The Mayor will be taking live calls and answering questions then.
