Free ADHD and Bullying Webinar

The Northern Learning and Support Center is hosting a lunch and learn webinar next Tuesday dealing with ADHD and the lifelong effects that bullying can have on children with ADHD.

Children and teens with ADHD are more likely to be bullied than their neurotypical peers.

Symptoms of ADHD can include impulsivity, trouble detecting social cues, low self-esteem, and executive function deficits.

Bullying and abuse can harm a child's brain architecture and function, leaving neurological scars, scars that are visible on brain scans

A child's brain is directly affected by environment and practice, meaning that empowering and inspiring a child can be greatly beneficial to their brain's development.

At this webinar, you'll learn ADHD Symptoms and behaviour that can make children targets, strategies to help children recover from trauma, and practical intervention skills to strengthen the brain and restore holistic health.

The Webinar is Tuesday June 11th from noon to 1pm, it is free to attend. To book a spot, email T Catalano at KSD dot MB dot CA.
