Stress Management

We should all be aware of managing stress; both positive and negative life changes can lead to stress, and finding a way to cope is key.

 

What causes stress for some may be different for others; managing mental and physical well-being plays a big part.

 

Stress is brought on when the demands of a situation or event become too much to manage.

 

Often, this stress is caused by an overwhelming demand at work and school, managing health and relationships, and dealing with financial situations.

 

The Beatrice Wilson Health Center offers a wide range of support programs in education, prevention, and advocacy and more more.

 

Programs are voluntary and non-judgmental, and self-referrals are welcome.

 

The OHA does have an afterhour crisis line at 204-923-0519 and can help if you feel over-stressed and are looking for support.
