The Paskwayak Business Development Corporation will permanently close the former OCN Gas Bar on Highway 10 North in Opaskwayak, Manitoba.

 

This decision was made following a recent underground storage tank leak discovered on April 17.

 

Although the leak was contained immediately and all safety protocols were followed, management has decided to close the location to prioritize the safety of customers and employees. 

 

The Paskwayak Business Development Corporation is currently working on removing the remaining gasoline from the tank and ensuring the site is safely and completely remediated. 

 

The company is committed to cooperating fully with local regulatory agencies throughout the process. 

 

The new Paskwayak Gas Bar is currently under construction, and is expected to be fully operational by June of this year.
