Today marks the start of the Opaskwayak Cree Nation's Annual Veterans Pow-Wow at The Arbour Site.

 

The 3-day event will be running all weekend long and will feature drumming, dancing, and singing honouring all the service men and women of OCN.

 

The flag-raising ceremony will take place during the first Grand Entry scheduled to start tonight at 7 pm.

 

Grand entry tomorrow will be at 1 and 7 pm, and on Sunday at 1 pm.

 

Crafters and vendors will be set up throughout the weekend with various goodies to sell.

 

Event registration opens at noon today, and there are singing and dance contests for all ages.
