Tomorrow more than 500 nurses from across the province will come together in Brandon for the Manitoba Nurses Union 48th Annual General Meeting. This is the first in-person AGM for MNU since 2019, as the 2020 one was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the 2021 and 2022 AGMs were held virtually.
This AGM will take place at the Keystone Centre in Brandon on April 25 and 26, 2023. The events below are open to the media. This includes remarks by MNU President Darlene Jackson, which will focus on protecting our public health care system and the nursing crisis.
