Shots fired at a residence in moose lake led to the apprehension of a 17-year-old from the community.

As officers were responding to a report of shots fired on Portage Road they received a second report of an injured male from Stagg Crescent.

The injured male was transported to the nursing station and later out of the community with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect has been charged with aggravated assault, discharging a weapon with intent, using a firearm in the commission of an offence, possession of a firearm when knowing possession is unauthorized, and failing to comply.
