Over the course of last week was the 76th Trappers Festival, on Sunday Gloria Ballantyne – Packo is crowned the Fur Queen, with Cadence Easter and Airianna Bignell – Beardy being awarded the first and second princess.
Chris Perchaluk and Clarissa Burns took home this year’s king and queen trapper trophy; Carson Clemons and Hannah Mercredi have crowned the Junior King and Queen Trappers, and Annie Malo and Liam Connor took home the gold in their respected Dog Sled Race.
