On October 19^th The RCMP received a report of a missing woman. Doreen Head was last seen on the 17^th.

On October 27^th, a body was discovered by the OCN Bear Clan Patrol and RCMP officials outside of The Pas, the body was confirmed to be of Doreen.

Opaskwayak Bear Clan patrol and local volunteers along with family members were instrumental in conducting a search and recovery effort that began on October 25, 2022, at the request of Doreen Head’s family.

The OCN Bear Clan Patrol, RCMP, Manitoba First Nations Police, OCN Fire Department, and countless others help search.
