Seven tipis were put up Monday morning at the OCN Arbor Site, each with its own teaching and symbolism, aimed at helping, The Pas, Opaskwayak and surrounding areas grow and heal together. The Summer Arbor Program will run until August 26th. The Seven Tipi teaching range from teachings aimed toward mental health, addictions, and medical topics. Others focus on our youth, music, addictions, parenting issues of today, and cultural topics. All are welcome, the public health tipi will have a weekly awareness campaign on various important topics, and you could win a twenty-five-dollar gift certificate when visiting.
