The Manitoba Government announced yesterday that $1.6 million dollars will be going towards 12 community projects through the Manitoba Mineral Development Fund.

According to a news release The Pas Community Development Corporation will be getting $22,500 worth of this funding.

Natural Resources and Northern Development Minister Scott Fielding says the provincial government is committed to attracting new investment in Manitoba’s mining sector and increasing indigenous participation in mineral development activities.
