As part of the budget 2022’s commitment to invest in communities The Manitoba government will be committing 29 million dollars for disability services and increasing wages for staff that provide them.

Premier Heather Stefanson says they are committed to reducing barriers and providing necessary support  services for those that have disabilities.

Families Minister Rochelle Squires says these investments recognise the essential work performed by front line service workers and ensures adults with disabilities are supported in living meaningful inclusive lives in the community.
