Funding Available to Assist the Homeless

The Brandon Neighborhood Renewal Corporations reaching home program has put out a call for proposals for rural and remote homelessness and indigenous homelessness projects, this means selected applicants could receive funding to assist the homeless population in their communities.

Indigenous stream funding can be used by indigenous organizations to assist the needs of their off reserve homeless population, and rural and remote stream funding can be used for homeless assistance projects anywhere in Manitoba except Winnipeg, Thompson, and Brandon.

For more information on submissions or for more information on this funding you are asked to contact Laura Wallis at 204-729-2490 extension 106 and you can also visit bnrc.ca/reachinghome

The deadline to make a submission is April 13th

The Brandon Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation is an organization dedicated to the development of solutions to the homeless population.
