The Manitoba Government appointed its first board of directors for shared health earlier this week.

Doris Young an OCN member is one of the new board members and she is a member of the First Nations Health and Social Secretariat of Manitoba and she will serve a two year term.

Audrey Gordon, Manitoba’s health minister says these board members bring a wide range of experience and expertise that will support the delivery of an accessible and responsive health care system for Manitobans.
