Matt Pecar the fire captain for The Pas Fire Department spoke to Arctic Radio to provide details on the fire that destroyed the legal aid building in The Pas.
He says the fire crews responded to the scene at around three in the morning on March 20th and the OCN fire department was later called in to assist.
Three families living in the buildings apartments were displayed due to the fire but with the help of The Pas Friendship Centre and the community an overwhelming amount of donations were received to assist these families and the friendship centre would like to thank everyone for their generosity.
The cause of the fire at the legal aid building is still under investigation
