Opaskwayak Cree Nation Jordan’s Principle is inviting you to take part in a special bear witness day T shirt design contest.
They are looking for a design that best represents Jordan’s Principle and the spirit bear. The winning design will be printed on the t shirt and it will be distributed to community members.
The t shirt design contest is open until March 22nd and the winner will be announced on March 25th.
The winner will receive a 300 dollar prize and more information on the contest and how you can submit your entry is available on the Beatrice Wilson Health Centre facebook page.
Bear witness day is on May 10th and it commemorates the day that Jordan’s principle was implemented. Its a principle that ensures first nations children have the services and supports that they need when they need them.
