During the legislative sitting on December 1st, our MLA Amanda Lathlin voiced her disappointment with Premier Heather Stefanson’s throne speech.
According to Lathlin the throne speech did not address the issues faced by Northern Manitobans, including the cost of living and people that struggle to access mental health services.
Premier Stefanson did say however in her throne speech that her government is committed to helping the most vulnerable and they have committed to a winter homelessness strategy.
