Operation Christmas Child is a campaign that collects gift filled shoe boxes for less fortunate children in different parts of the world and with the help of three Northern Manitoba communities and their generous donations 287 needy children will receive a gift this Christmas.

The gift filled shoe boxes were collected in The Pas and Area, Flin Flon, and Snow Lake and they were shipped Yesterday morning.

Local Organizer Pat Tonn would like to thank everyone for their donations.
