The Town of The Pas received a letter from Manitoba's Minister of Sport, Culture and Heritage Cathy Cox to congratulate the community for winning the $7500 prize from the PartcipACTION Community Better Challenge, an award that is expected to go towards the local skate park project.

Minister Cox letter stated that everyone involved in the challenge should be proud of what they accomplished and believes that the success of The Pas will inspire other Manitoba Communities to encourage their citizens to take up physical activity.
