Opaskwayak Cree Nation is working with the University of Manitoba on a project that will use smart technology at their vertical farm project.

They will be using the smart technology to help vegetables to grow all year in an effort to combat diabetes, promote health, and create economic and environmental benefits.

The smart technology is artificial intelligence that monitors the plants that are being grown.
