Local UCN student Brea Anderson recently held a picket sign outside the municipal building here in The Pas to demand that The Town of The Pas take action to address the homeless issue in the community.
While Anderson doesn’t believe that the town of The Pas is doing enough to solve this problem The Pas mayor Herb Jaques says the town is doing everything they can think of to solve the problem and agrees that homelessness should not happen in a country as rich as Canada. Jaques is commending Anderson for drawing attention to the issue.
Anderson plans to continue her protests outside the municipal building.
