Manitoba is expanding COVID-19 vaccine eligibility to include all adults who live or work in the Northern Health Region.

Health and Seniors Care Minister Heather Stefanson announced beginning today all adults who live and work in the north are eligible.

She says this recognizes the increased risks facing people in the north particularly as variants of concern become more prevalent in Manitoba.

All adults who live in the Northern Health Region are now eligible to make a COVID-19 vaccine appointment.  Anyone who regularly works in the region in any role is also eligible.
