Kelsey School Division Principal Louise Loewen is retiring after almost 34 years of service.

She started her tenure as a history and English teacher at Margaret Barbour Collegiate before moving on to primary grades at the other schools.

She was later appointed as assistant principal at Opasquia School before moving to Mary Duncan School a few years ago. She was appointed principal of Mary Duncan School last year.

Chair Vaughn Wadelius says she has always did her best to meet the needs of her students and would like to wish her well in her retirement.
