Manitoba 211 Phone Line Launch

Manitobans who may be seeking help or support now have an easier way of being directed to the resources that they may need.

That’s thanks to the new 2-1-1 phone line service in the province, which launched last week.

Manitoba 2-1-1’s online service was established in 2017, and United Way Winnipeg’s President and CEO Connie Walker says that they were able to expand to the phone line service thanks to funding provided by the federal government.

Walker says people can now call 2-1-1 and will be in touch with a call taker who will help find the right kind of health or social service you may need, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

For more information on the new 2-1-1 phone line service, you can call 2-1-1, or visit mb.211.ca
