The Kelsey School Division held a board meeting this past Monday.

The superintendent reported to the board that the reopening plans at the schools went really well and school administrations and staff had worked very hard to ensure that all guidelines were followed according to Manitoba education directives.

Chair Vaughn Wadelius says the school division also has safety plans in place to train students on COVID 19 safety measures while in school and they are also training substitute teachers and substitute support staff on the new school needs.

Vaughn thanked the parents of bus students for driving them to school as this allowed the division to plan the cohort groups for school buses to allow for social distancing.
