The Pas Fire Department will be having fire safety workshops next week on Wednesday the 24th and Friday the 26th.
The workshops will be running with two groups a day one at 11AM and the other at 2PM on both days.
The two workshops are called “What to do When the Alarm Goes Off” and “Which Way is Out” and will teach participants what to do when there is a fire and how to evacuate a burning building safely.
Fire Prevention officer Lars Pillipow says it’s important for children to learn about fire safety in these workshops at a young age so that they have a good idea of what do in the event of fire rather then relying on what they learned in school or on television.
If you are interested in taking part in these workshops you can call 204-620-0798 to sign up.
