The Province of Manitoba will be providing Opasquia Trails with $50,000 in support for building the Grace Lake Boardwalk.

Board member Al MacLauchlan stated in a news release that fund raising for the project was delayed due to the COVID 19 pandemic hence the announcement is good news.

Opasquia trails has retained the HTFC planning and design from Winnipeg to complete a master plan for the interpretive boardwalk and trail which will start at the Kelsey Watershed District Office and end about 400 metres north at the Boreal discovery trail.

The trail will provide outdoor opportunities such as bird watching once completed.
