Opaskwayak Cree nation announced that their National Cree Gathering, pow wow, Big Eddy Sports Days, and Opaskwayak Indian Days have all been cancelled for this year.
The decision was made to help prevent the spread of COVID 19. Chief Christian Sinclair stated that he hopes to gather once again in the future to strengthen cree traditions.
