Northern Heath Region Community Health Developer Russell Thorne spoke to Arctic Radio about the Stay Safe Badges.
The badges contain a message to remind people to keep a safe distance from others during the COVID 19 pandemic.
NHR purchased the first 500 badges and The Pas Kinettes provided 500 more badges to distribute to the community.
Badges are being worn by workers and various other people throughout the community.
The Northern Health Region is hoping to get more badges to the vulnerable members of the community and frontline workers.
