Opaskwayak Cree Nation wants to remind members that animal control officers are patrolling the streets and it’s important to ensure that pets are registered with the Government Services Branch.

 

If your registered dog is off their leash or out of its enclosure you are asked to inform the animal control officers by calling 204-620-2693.

 

You are also requested to call animal control once your dog has been found.

Registered animals found running loose will be captured and warnings will be issued to owners.

 

If owners have been provided with more than one notice further action may be taken.
