Manitoba Investing 45 Million Dollars to Help Seniors

Yesterday the Province Announced that $45 million dollars will be invested to support Manitoba seniors during the COVID 19 pandemic through the new Seniors Economic Recovery Credit that will see the delivery of a $200 tax credit to each recipient.

According to Premier Brian Pallister seniors across the province are facing increased financial hardships because they now have to pay extra for grocery deliveries and for purchasing technology to allow them to communicate with loved ones, adding that Manitobans are working together to navigate the challenging time and seniors throughout the province deserve our help.
