Manitoba NDP leader Wab Kinew called on the Pallister Government to reverse their plan that would force thousands of layoffs and wage cuts when they revealed their plan to re-open the economy.

Kinew believes that while the Pallister government is telling Manitobans that it’s time to go back to work, people will have to be fired or have their wages cut in order to survive the pandemic.

According to a news release more than 30,000 Manitobans have been laid off since March and Kinew says they will approach the Pallister Government on the alleged job and wage cuts during question period once the legislature returns.
