The province is expanding the COVID 19 testing criteria while also ramping up its testing capacity a crucial step before beginning to loosen public health measures and restarting the economy.

The testing criteria is expanded to any Manitoban with COVID 19 symptoms even mild symptoms such as a fever or a cough.

Premier Brian Pallister says through good panning Manitoba has been able to get ahead of COVID 19 and flatten the curve. With increased levels of tracking, testing, and isolation we have a better understanding of how we are doing as a province.

Prime Minister Trudeau stated that while the pandemic curve in Canada has flattened we are not out of the woods yet and certain restrictions need to remain in place.
