The official opposition remains committed to working with the province to support the fight against COVID 19 that is why Manitoba NDP leader Wab Kinew is urging the Pallister Government to immediately reconvene the house in order to fight for jobs and financial assistance.

Kinew stated that the official opposition’s job is to fight for Manitoban jobs and if front line workers can continue to show up to work MLA’s should do the same.

The opposition is prepared to work with the Provincial Government to safely reconvene the house using social distancing measures or virtual sessions.
