The possibility of lifting the plastic bag by law in The Town of the Pas during
the COVID 19 epidemic was brought up at last weeks council meeting as there has been concerns about people using reusable shopping bags during this time.

According to an issue sheet some communities have lifted their plastic bag by
law to prevent workers at stores from touching the personal property of others and some local businesses have asked if the town of The Pas will be doing this as well.

The issue sheet also said they can do this through a resoultion and will be
brought up again at a later date.
