Manitoba’s Chief Public Health Officer says there is currently one confirmed-presumed positive case of COVID-19 in the north.

Doctor Brent Roussin confirmed the case during yesterday afternoon’s COVID-19 update.

He adds that the case is under a public health investigation, and details surrounding the case have not been confirmed at this time.

A spokesperson from the Northern Health Region says positive cases will be not be reported by the community they reside in, but by the regional health authority.
