Opaskwayak Cree Nation declared a state of emergency in response to the COVID 19 epidemic and sanitary kits are being delivered to members today.

The kits will be delivered to elders first and then to those members with chronic conditions and disabilities. Once they have been taken care of, other OCN members will receive their sanitary kits.

The package contains wipes that should not be flushed down the toilet otherwise you could cause sewage back up.

Using proper cough and sneeze etiquette, social distancing, and frequent hand hashing are highly recommended at this time.

OCN will continue to keep members informed during the epidemic.
