The Manitoba Métis Federation is taking necessary steps to protect the health and well being of Manitoba Métis during the COVID 19 crisis.

MMF will be investing one million dollars to assist Métis Elders, Entrepreneurs and employees that have been impacted by this pandemic.

MMF president David Chartrand says they commend Prime Minister Trudeau and his ministry of staff for taking immediate action and committing to a partnership with the Métis Nation.

Métis elders and employees in need of assistance can call 1-800-665-8474 and Métis businesses and entrepreneurs are asked to call 1-800-387-6004
