The 2020 Northern Manitoba Skills Challenge was held on February 25th and the 26th and it was a big success.
Kathi McConnell Hore Margaret Barbour Colligates principal and the challenges co chair says 49 students participated in 13 challenges including things like automotive technology and welding.
She added that the challenge gives students hands on practice before competing in the Skills Manitoba Competition. The small venue allows participants to receive better feedback.
Some students from MBCI are expected to attend and take part in the Skills Manitoba Competition this April.
