The Pas Health Complex Foundation held their annual general meeting on February 5th and the board of trustees were elected.
Sue Lambert was appointed as chairperson, and Alfred McDonald was appointed vice chairperson. Brooke Mclean was appointed treasurer, Walt Marlow was appointed Secretary, and Deb Lane, Mike Munro, Patti Banks, and Valoree Munro were all appointed as trustees.
A press release from the foundation said they completed the purchase of new beds for the St Paul’s Personal Care home and equipment for palliative care at St Anthony’s Hospital in the past year at a cost of over $63,000.
The release also stated that support from the community is essential for the foundation to continue with the mandate of ensuring that funds remain in The Pas with the goal of improving health care facilities.
