There is a new opportunity for entrepreneurs in the Tri Area to present their business ideas and get assistance getting their idea off the ground.

This past Friday the grand opening of the new Communities Economic Development Office was held at the Otineka Mall.

Anyone that has an idea or a dream for a business can come to the office and they will get business advice and assistance with developing a business plan.

Jennifer Flett who spoke on behalf of Opaskwayak Cree Nation stated the opening of the office at the Otineka Mall is a good example of where the community is now economically as the mall was built based on economic development from the 1970s to help OCN become more independent and the new office is a step in working in conjunction with other organizations.
