Kelsey School Division Superintendant Julia Mckay Spoke to Arctic Radio about their board meeting on Monday Night.

One of the major issues addressed is the fact that the board will have to make a number of cuts to their budget due to a lack of funding.

This issue also resulted in the cancellation of their planned open house.

It’s not known as of now what cuts are going to be made but more details on the cuts should be made available once the budget is completed.

During the meeting Jerome Conaty also conducted a presentation about North Forge a program to promote industry and entrepreneurship in the north.
